Where To Shop Small This Christmas

Where To Shop Small This Christmas

Following on from my previous blog post, I’m here to share some lovely female founded small businesses you should check out and support this Christmas.

@exall.art

Jessica at @exall.art is a Kent based illustrator who creates work that is inspired by the natural world. She likes to paint wildlife that might be overlooked, bringing out their uniqueness and beauty.

I love all of Jessica’s amazing prints and products and you can shop them all on Etsy at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JessicaExallShop

@meganfblackart

Megan F Black Art creates magical and mystical art, inspired by tales of Faeries and Mermaids. From beautifully drawn forest faeries and nymphs to mermaids of the deep, you can find colourful prints, cards and magnets on her Etsy page and on her Instagram.

Shop the beautiful range on Etsy at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MeganFBlackArt

@alpinetonesillustration

Victoria at Alpine Tones Illustration is a watercolour artist and surface pattern designer based in the Swiss Alps. Her paintings of alpine flora and marine life contain minute details which are often used to create patterns for various products and prints. Victoria’s latest collection, Autumn Abstracts, is more fluid and takes inspiration from macro photography of tree bark. Ps there’s also some cute Christmas products you NEED to see! All links can be found on @alpinetonesillustration’s Instagram page.

 @willowandbayscents

Willow & Bay is a luxury home fragrance brand. Willow & Bay produces products that stand out from the crowd, make stylish home decor and, most importantly, create beautiful scents for your home. Products are poured in London and are vegan friendly/cruelty free. You can find Willow & Bay’s stunning selection of scents at www.willowandbayscents.com

@_dimplesbakery_

No Christmas would be complete without some sweet treats (am I right?). Dimple’s Bakery specialises in large cakes, cupcakes, brownies and cookies. All goodies are made to order and uniquely designed for your special occasion. You can check out all their creations and find details of upcoming markets on their (very delicious looking) Instagram page.

@yarnbylaurel

Yarn by Laurel is a small Etsy business based in the Chilterns, creating handmade crochet cup cosies.

Inspired by the Danish concept of 'hygge', each cup cosy is designed to bring the feeling of warmth and happiness. Ideal for morning commutes, dog walks or the school-run, and a brilliant gift for any coffee lover!

Each cup cosy also has a personalised leather tag, which is made to order and stamped by hand. So every cup cosy is completely unique. Go check out all the goodies on Etsy at www.etsy.com/shop/YarnByLaurel

And lastly, if you’re after scrunchies, barrettes and headbands, I know a place ;)

The Festive Love Collection is available to buy on the Scrunchies By Nat website and we are currently celebrating with 12 days of Christmas treats. Check out @scrunchiesbynat_uk on Instagram for details.

Anyway, that’s it from me. I hope this post has provided you with some small biz inspiration for your holiday gifting.

Happy holidays!

Nat x
